The Sofer is a Jewish scribe who can transcribe Torah scrolls, tefillin, mezuzot, ketubot, megilot and other religious scriptures.

The main Jewish law (Halakha) regarding "Sofrut," the practice of the scribal arts, is found in the Talmud, Tractate Masehet Sofrim (מסכת סופרים, "Tractate of the Scribes").

There are many rules relating to the correct formation of Hebrew letters, which must be respected if a written text is to be considered religiously valid. The Ashkenazi, Sephardi,  Italki, Chabad (Lubavitch) followers, and Mizrahi each have their own type of scriptural style for forming letters, although the same rules apply throughout the text. Documents must be written on properly prepared and processed parchment, known as klaf (קלף).

On this site you can order mezuzot, ketubot, megilot written on parchment according to the Hebrew laws (halakha). All texts are controlled by the rabbis (kosher). There are also blessings with beautiful  handmade decorations.
